Cornflower Teapot

A superb William Moorcroft Cornflower Teapot from around 1913.

Richly coloured and decorated in the sought-after Cornflower pattern, this beautiful piece has fine, delicate tubelining and an excellent colourway.

The Cornflower teapot was one of the first pieces made at the new Moorcroft works in Cobridge, dating it between October 1913 and January 1914.

Full William Moorcroft signature to base, no impressed marks.

This exquisite piece is in extremely good condition, with no restoration or damage. A minor hairline firing mark to the base from the time of manufacture can be faintly seen in the photo of the base.

All our vintage stock is guaranteed to be in at least very good condition, with no chips, cracks, damage or restoration.
