‘Eighteenth Century’ Macintyre 12-inch Vase

Add To Basket

Made by William Moorcroft for Macintyre & Co. around 1908,  this ‘Eighteenth Century’ vase is one of the largest of its kind we have seen.

Decorated with classical swags of roses and forget-me-nots over an attractive off-white glaze, it’s embellished with gilding to the rim, collar and foot. The remarkably slender fillet and foot of the vase contribute to its elegance, and emphasise its height.

Very Good condition. There’s minimal rubbing to the gilding, with just two areas of loss (see our photo).

Full William Moorcroft signature painted to base; Macintyre and Co., Burslem, England factory mark.

All our vintage stock is guaranteed to be in at least very good condition, with no chips, cracks, damage or restoration.
