This sumptuous Pansy Vase in the 32/5 shape was made c.1925 by William Moorcroft. Standing five inches tall, it is decorated with a continuous garland of seven pansies, their petals shifting from burgundy red to deep violet and indigo, framed by soft green foliage on a cobalt ground. Strongly painted and full of character, it is typical of William Moorcroft’s work of that era.

Excellent condition. William Moorcroft’s hand-painted initials to base over Moorcroft factory stamp.
