This brightly painted vintage Wisteria Vase was made c.1925 by William Moorcroft.

Just three and three-quarter inches tall, it is richly decorated with clusters of plums in daffodil yellow and deep aubergine, balanced by soft olive-green foliage, all set against a cobalt ground. A few minor colour runs can be seen in our photographs, though they do not detract from the vibrancy of the design.

Very good condition: factory stamp MOORCROFT ENGLAND to base.
