This vintage William Moorcroft Pomegranate Pepperette is an unusual, attractive piece. A little over 3 inches tall, it’s topped by a silver lid made by William Hutton & Sons with a Birmingham hallmark dating it to 1922-23 (see photos).

The ceramic body appears subdued at first glance, but reveals an intricate depth of detail and subtle gradations of colour on full inspection.

Very good condition: a couple of minor dings to the silver top.
