Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the iconic Arts and Crafts designer, crafted a distinctive design style, a contrast between strong right angles and floral inspired decorative motifs with subtle curves, such as Mackintosh’s rose motif.

In Moorcroft Pottery designer’s Rachel’s Caledonia Rose, his signature rose in deep ruby red is beautifully framed by soft turquoise blue tulips, vibrant green leaves, and rich dark blue panels. The design is further enhanced by small dark-blue squares that form an elegant framework around the central rose, creating a striking visual harmony.
