This 3-inch Orchid Vase was made c.1948 by Walter Moorcroft.

Each side carries a single orchid bloom, its petals shaded in crimson, violet and ochre against soft green foliage on a deep emerald ground. Tubelined with Moorcroft’s characteristic precision, it shows the quiet elegance of the late 1940s range.

Very good condition. Moorcroft factory stamp to base.
