At just under three and a half inches tall, this African Lily Vase was made c.1950 by Walter Moorcroft. Expertly tubelined and exuberantly painted, its African lilies glow in amaranth red with touches of soft yellow and green foliage, set against a rich blue ground. As with all hand-painted Moorcroft, the colours vary in tone and nuance, giving this vase its own character and charm.

Very good condition. Moorcroft factory stamp to base.
