From the Shooting Butts Hide on RSPB Rainham Marshes an abundance of Lapwings (sometimes known as Peewits in imitation of their display call) can be seen in wavering flight, distinguished by their unusual round-shaped wings, tinged with petrol green, and their trademark white tips.
