Moorcroft Pottery designer Rachel Bishop has always had a fascination for the world of water. Her Golden Darter vase shows darter dragonflies against a mass of yellow flag irises. These semi-aquatic plants thrive on the banks of streams, in flooded meadows or in forested wetlands.

Rachel’s 7-inch vase depicts the golden irises rising from deep blue waters, as the darter dragonflies flit above.
