In August 1913, William Moorcroft opened his own factory on Sandbach Road, Burslem. One of the vanguard designs to emerge from the bottle oven was Pomegranate, which remained in production until the late 1930s.

In Pomegranate Reborn, Rachel pays homage to one of Moorcroft’s longest-running designs. The centres of her fruit feature tiny tubelined seeds, surrounded by purple grapes and soft green leaves, all evoking a nostalgic, bygone era.
