Each year on 20 May, the world marks World Bee Day – and this year, Moorcroft Pottery designer Rachel Bishop brings us a cloud of bees suspended mid-flight. In Bees for Tea, Moorcroft’s distinctive tubelining creates a rare sense of motion, with fine black trails capturing the busy dance of each bee as they dart through the air before returning to their hive at night.
