Liberty & Co. designer Archibald Knox was known for creating clocks, silverware, pewter and jewellery. Many of these pieces featured dove motifs and stylised leaves.

Moorcroft Pottery designer Emma Bossons has taken hints from his work. Under a canopy of vibrant green and red motifs, purple threads are harnessed into a interlacing pattern, and burnt bracken-coloured leaves transform into swaying trees that hold nesting doves curled up against the dusky ground.
