A superb Whispering Mistle Thrush Slab Vase by Michele Cowmeadow.
Each side of this 23-inch tall earthenware vase shows a mistle thrush whispering something magical into the ear of a crouching hare. The tone of one side is slightly cooler than the other (see photos). The piece is unique: we only have one for sale.
Though slender, slab vases are heavy, and we’d prefer collection from our shop if practicable.
Michele Cowmeadow’s eye-catching ceramics are inspired by Roman vases and mosaics, magically interpreted in her unique style. Her output is limited and hard to find. These beautiful vases make wonderful statement pieces, standing alone or with Michele’s smaller jugs, bowls and plates.
