Chasing the Rabbit
New for 2022, we’re delighted to announce a Cotswold Gift Gallery exclusive: Chasing the Rabbit hand-sculptured wool rabbits.
Based in Cheltenham in the heart of the Cotswolds, Chasing the Rabbit make a small number of bunnies from the finest wools, beautiful vintage fabrics and locally sourced materials.
We think they make a unique and wonderful gift. Here’s why:
Read more >>Each Chasing the Rabbit bunny (or dog!) is painstakingly created by hand-sculpting wool over a wire armature. The wools are 100% sourced from Shetland, Corriedale or Merino sheep, and dyed and shaded using natural processes. The rabbit whiskers are made from combed Cotswold horsetail. Each rabbit comes in a hand-made drawstring rabbit print bag.
Quirky, distinctive and with very individual personalities, it’s the meticulous detail in Chasing the Rabbit’s creations that make them so special – the neckerchiefs made from Liberty print cloth, the vintage buttons and beads, the painstaking hand-stitched features, the hand-knitted scarves and hats, the hand-crafted satchels and flower pots.
These aren’t toys or playthings, but very much labours of love. Each rabbit is a one-off creation, or one of a (very) small limited edition: but every rabbit will be unique.
